Mr. Clingensmith had no children of his own, but I can say with gratitude and great confidence that he was a firm yet loving father figure in many wonderful ways to all of his students in Math class at Mars High. I wish everyone could have been blessed by having Mr. Clingensmith for a teacher. He was the most memorable teacher I ever had. I pray for the sweet repose of his soul and for consolation for his family.

I sat in Mr. clingensmith's Algebra class during the 1965-66 school year. He was a great teacher. Thank you Mr. Clingensmith for all your help in getting through that class. I finally made it. I extends my deepest condolences and prayers to your wife and family.

I had the privilege of learning algebra from him, and I have just retired from teaching math to students in Florida. I thank him for the inspiration to teach. My condolences to his family.

I am so sorry for your loss. Mr. Clingensmith was a wonderful caring teacher. He helped many students get through math and actually learn to enjoy it. He had a great sense of humor and I would sit in the front row so I wouldn't miss a word! My deepest sympathy to all his family. He will surely be missed.

In the '60's Mr. Clingensmith taught me algebra. I always enjoyed his class and learned a lot from a great teacher. Then later when I was a teacher at Mars, I was on the math curriculum committee with him and he was then still teaching me. I'll always have fond memories of him.
