Donna, I took care of Jerry many times while I worked at Clarion Hospital ICU. (have been retired 3 1/2 years now). Always enjoyed our chats about the horses and his 'farming'. I know he will be missed by many, but especially by you. You have my Hugs & Prayers in hopes that you will receive some comfort in knowing he was much loved. Wendy

On behalf of all the members of the 458th Engineer Alumni Association, I would like to extend our sympathy and prayers to Donna and the family of our fellow soldier Captain Jerry Hamil. We offer a final salute on his departure from us, for now, knowing that someday we will all be able to render a welcome salute again to each other.

My sincere sympathies, thoughts, and prayers to Donna and the entire Hamil family at this time of loss and sorrow. I knew Jerry through the US Army Reserve Program as Commander of Company A, 458th Engineer Battalion. A great leader, Jerry served his country with dignity and honor for which he will always be remembered and will live on in our memories. Job well done, Sir. Godspeed.
