Mum is sorrowfully missed. I appreciate so much the thoughts, prayers, and happy memories posted here. Peggy, I remember Shirley and her family and Les Fox - we moved into that house when Shirley moved. Tanya, I remember our time meeting you and family in England - a highlight of my life. Therese I remember when mum tried to get me to have a lop eared rabbit from England - she was so proud of the longest eared rabbit record and always spoke so kindly of all the family you mention. Bonnie, thank you for sharing that wonderful memory of her kindness toward you and Brooke. Tim, Diane and Benjamin, mum always had some photos of your family around her apartment. Mary, I will always remember your gentle and kind ways with Grandma while she was in the hospital during those last days. Thank you all. She was an upbeat person who looked on the bright side and always persevered. She taught me well, and I will always be thankful that I'm her daughter. I also extend my condolences to all who knew her, loved her, and will miss her. She was an extraordinary person who now rests in the arms of Jesus.

I have such fond memories of Auntie Dot, sharing times when as children, myself and cousins lived together with my Paternal Grandmother (Auntie's mum).. When I was 18 and Auntie had settled in America, I had intended moving to America and living with Auntie. "But", she said, "Therese you must learn to drive first!" Which I did soon after. However, it was my future husband who gave me some lessons, and so that was that, and I ended up staying in England! However, driving became very important when myself and daughter Cheryl would drive all around the country showing our Lop eared rabbits! So I am very grateful to Auntie for encouraging me to drive. There are many other fond memories, but one in particular was when she came over to England to see myself and Cheryl being awarded top place in the Guinness Book of Records, (for breeding the 'longest eared rabbit'), at London Zoo with Johnny Morris, popular at the time for imitating animal voices! Auntie bought her video camera along to record the action! She will be sorely missed in our family especially by myself, Fred, Stephen, Leena, Ishana, Kamran; Cheryl, Jacob, Harrie and Trixie my mum. Auntie wrote once to us asking my mum, in her always humorous tone, to stay well as she didn't want to be the only 'oldie' left! Well she has her wish, Bless her, and is now with her beloved brother (our dad), and family. She will never be forgotten..

Such precious memories; We fondly remember Aunty Dot, who was a special and remarkable person with an infectious laugh. Albeit some years' ago, we feel blessed to have had the opportunity to have spent much time with her here in the UK and those memories will be cherished forever. Much love... ... I was telling my husband just this week about the lady from England who used to live near my aunt, Shirley Salsgiver, near the Goodman's Corner's area. I played with Eddie when we were just kids and never forgot that lady and her family. I was amazed to find this obituary today and offer my sincerest sympathy to her family. She was admired and respected by our family. Keeping you in our prayers.

My deepest sympathy and sincerest condolences to Dorothy's family and friends. I remember the last time I saw and spoke with her as if it were yesterday. We laughed. She gave me a big hug and thanked me for keeping her granddaughter (Brooke) in touch with her and had some positive words whispered in my ear that I can still hear. She was upbeat and vibrant at the time and that is how I will remember her. I will not soon forget her last words to me. My prayers go out to Dorothy as the Angels carry her Home and to her family that they may find comfort in the many happy memories of her. Rest in Eternal Peace Dorothy, you will be missed.
