Joann Helen DeLoe

Joann Helen DeLoe, 76, of Venus passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at her home.

Joann was born on April 16, 1940 in Limestone, NY. She was the daughter of Carl and Rose Yusinski Bickel. Mrs. Deloe was a homemaker and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild. She enjoyed shopping, buying new purses, camping, and holidays. Joann was married on September 8, 1964 to Gail P. DeLoe Sr. He preceded her in death on February 20, 2008.

Mrs. DeLoe is survived by two sons, Gail P. DeLoe Jr. and his wife, Barbara of Venus, and Scott A. Bickel and his wife, Penny, of Knox; a daughter, Mary J. DeLoe and her significant other, James Dunkle, of Oil City; two brothers, Carl Bickel and his wife, Bessie of North Carolina, and Harry Bickel, of Turkey City; two sisters, Carol Bickel Haimes, of Leander, TX, and Jane Strauser and her husband, Fred, of Pine City; seven grandchildren, Amy Baggaley, Sherri Fenstermaker and her husband, Cody, Shawn DeLoe, Corey Baggaley, Shannon DeLoe, Victoria DeLoe and James Dunkle as well as nine great-grandchildren, Evan, Gage, Preston, Logan, Natalies, Saul, Collin, Karahline, and Kendryk. A number of nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a number of brothers and sisters.

Friends will be received at the Hile Funeral Home Inc., 1204 Kerr Ave., Emlenton, from 5-8 p.m. Today (Friday). A funeral service will be held from the funeral home at 11 a.m. Saturday. Interment will be in Richland Presbyterian Cemetery, Salem Twp., Clarion County.
