Vickie Sue Kaupp, 71, of East Brady, passed away peacefully in the company of her family Tuesday morning, January 13, 2026 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh following a courageous battle with liver failure.
Vickie was born in Kittanning on June 26, 1954. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Eleanor Crawford Cramer.
She was a 1972 graduate of Kittanning High School and had been employed as a clerk and a seamstress. She was an avid animal lover and enjoyed crocheting, fishing, camping, gardening, and playing bingo.
She is survived by her husband of more than 30 years, Peter F. Kaupp; three children, Melinda S. Dailey of New Castle, Phillip E. Dailey (Nicole) of East Brady, Kendra L. Coover (Justin) of Karns City; her siblings, Deborah Kline and her husband, William, of Rural Valley, Robert Cramer and his wife, Se Se, of Kittanning, Brenda Loos of Karns City, and William Cramer and his wife, Helen, of Saxonburg, as well as a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two children, Gregory Douglas and Alisha D. Hampshire.
Friends will be received at the Hile Funeral Home of Karns City, 128 Main St., Karns City, from 4-6 p.m. Friday, January 16. Scripture reading and committal prayers will follow from the funeral home at 6 p.m. with the Rev. Beverly Roscoe, pastor of the Karns City United Methodist Church, officiating.
