He is survived by his companion of 43 years, Margaret M. “Peg” Freiters, his son, Jacob T. “Jake” Freiters and his fiancée, Samantha Connolly, of Fairview, a daughter, Amber Weibel and her husband, Jay, of East Brady; his grandchildren, Chandlar Freiters, and Malynn and Ethan Weibel; his sisters, Kristie Christie and her husband, Dennis, and Robin Runyan, all of Parker, as well as a number of brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Sam Runyan, and a sister-in-law, Beverly Heeter.

Friends will be received at the Hile Funeral Home of Karns City, 128 Main St., Karns City, from 12-3 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. Sunday.  A funeral service will be held from the funeral home at 11 a.m. Monday with Rev.
