Sara J. Brown

Sara J. Brown, 20, of Butler, formerly of North Washington, passed away Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh from injuries she sustained in a vehicle accident on Route 38 in Butler County on August 16.

Sara was born in Butler on June 2, 2003. She was the daughter of David G. Brown Jr. of North Washington, and the late Chrystal Wiles Brown.

Sara attended Moniteau High School. She enjoyed listening to music, fishing, swimming, the company of her pets, and most especially spending time with her kids.

Sara had been employed at Vocelli’s Pizza in Butler.

In addition to her father, she is survived by her boyfriend, Clayton Snow of Butler; two daughters Aaliyah and Kayleigh; her paternal grandmother, Gloria J. Brown of Boyers; two sisters, Lindsey Wolfe, of Karns City and Tiffany Brown, of North Washington; as well as a brother-in-law, Jeff Wolfe; a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her mother, Sara was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather and maternal grandparents.

Friends will be received at Hile Funeral Home of Karns City, 128 Main Street, Karns City from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday. A prayer service will follow at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Floyd Barnhart.
