Ronald K. Burdett

Ronald K. “Ron” Burdett, 86, of East Liverpool passed peacefully at his home on Thursday, August 22, 2024.

Ron was born in Ford City on April 25, 1938. He was the son of the late Edward E. and Annie Marie Spencer Burdett.

Ron retired as a mechanic and operator from the former Quaker State, now Shell Oil Refinery in Newell after 20 years of service. Ron was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy, and had attended Ford City Schools. He was very proud of his service to our country as a member of the United States Navy.

In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his siblings, Robert L. Burdett, Stanley Eugene Burdett, Marlin Dale Burdett, Barbara Ruth Blaner, and Edward William Burdett, and most importantly by his wife, Margie Roudebush Burdett.

Ron leaves his brothers, Wendell Alvin Burdett of Ford City, and James (May) Burdett of Arizona, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Full military honors will be accorded by members of the Chicora and Brady's Bend American Legion Posts, at the Hemphill Cemetery in Chicora on Saturday, August 31, at 11:00 a.m.
