Rebecca Ann Bell

Rebecca Ann “Becky” Bell, 66, of Bruin, passed away late Tuesday afternoon, March 29, 2022 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh following a brief illness.

Rebecca was born on March 3, 1956 in Fredericksburg, near Petrolia.  She was the daughter of the late Paul and Alberta Fair Bell.

She was a 1974 graduate of Karns City High School.  Rebecca enjoyed spending time with her grandkids. She was of the protestant faith.

Becky retired in 2015 following more than 20 years of service with the Office of Personnel Management in Boyers. 

Rebecca is survived by her son, Adam Paul Bell and his wife, Jessica, of Chicora; three grandchildren, Mason, McKenna, and Teagan Bell of Chicora.  Rebecca was the youngest of six siblings.  She is survived by a brother, James “Jim” Bell of Mt. Chestnut and a sister, Paulette Brown of Chicora, as well as a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Jerry Bell, Thomas Bell, and John Bell.

Family and close friends will be received at the Hile Funeral Home of Karns City, 128 Main St., Karns City, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Friday.  A funeral service will follow from the funeral home at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Jim Lewis, pastor of the Karns City United Methodist Church, officiating.  Interment will be in Annisville Cemetery.   Condolences may be sent by visiting www.hilefh.com.
