Patricia N. (Burris) Krug

Patricia N. Krug, 72, of Emlenton, passed away unexpectedly late Friday afternoon, March 21, 2025 at Shippenville Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center following a brief illness.

Patricia was born in Pine City, Clarion County, on November 7, 1952.  She was the daughter of the late Harvey and Naomi Wedekind Burris.

She was a graduate of Cranberry High School and had worked as a caregiver in various nursing homes.  Patty enjoyed feeding the birds and gardening.

She is survived by her husband, James E. “Jim” Krug, whom she married in Cranberry on June 15, 1991.  Also surviving is a son, Keith Russell, a brother, Rick Burris and his wife, Dorothea, two sisters, Bonnie Hanna and her husband, “Butch”, and Carol Melinsky and her husband, Ralph; a sister-in-law, Julie Hughes, and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Connie Clifton.

Private funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hile Funeral Home Inc., Emlenton.
