Mary Ann (Sabo) Latini

Mary Ann Latini, 87, of Butler, went to be with the Lord while in the company of her family Wednesday afternoon August 13, 2025 at Newhaven Court at Clearview. 

Mary Ann was born in Brownsville, Washington County on August 9, 1938.  She was the daughter of the late Alex and Florence Huey Sabo.  In her earlier years she had been employed as a dental assistant and also worked for some time at the hospital in Kane.  Mary Ann enjoyed keeping a neat and tidy home, decorating and was always looking forward to the company of her family.  She was a member of Faith Fellowship Alliance Church in Butler.    

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her husband William R. “Bill” Latini, whom she married in McDonald on August 18, 1974.  Mr. Latini passed away on August 15, 2021. 

She is survived by three children: Deborah A. Gilbert of Butler, Sandra L. Neil and her husband Jon of Slovan, and Mariann Clark and her husband Larry of McMurray; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.  A brother survives Donald Sabo Jr. and his wife of Washington, three sisters Charlotte Dean and her husband Robert, Erma Jean Sarrell and Donna Lee as well as a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers in law and sisters in law. 

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Jerry, Alex and Wayne Sabo. 

Friends will be received at the Faith Fellowship Alliance Church 200 Faith Way Dr. Butler from 11 to 1pm on Monday.  A funeral service will follow from the church at 1pm with the Rev. Richard Jenks, church pastor, officiating.  Interment will be in North Butler Presbyterian Church Cemetery.  Memorial contributions in Mrs. Latini’s name may be made to Faith Fellowship Alliance Church.  Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hile Funeral Home of Chicora.  WWW.HILEFH.COM
