Margaret Marie Tokich (nee Bishop), 72, of Foxburg, formerly of Cleveland, passed away very peacefully at her home Thursday, August 22, 2019.
Margaret was born on May 30, 1947 in Owosso, Michigan, the daughter of the late Harold and Rosemarie Basel Bishop. She was the first born of twelve siblings, a loving wonderful gift for all of us.
Margaret loved and cared for each and every sibling and their children. Polly is her fox terrier that Margie rescued in 2011 and was her walking buddy and companion. She put others before herself, had a good sense of humor, never complained about her ailments, was very independent, and liked everyone to get along with each other.
Margaret was a member of St. Michael The Archangel Roman Catholic Church in Emlenton where she attended Mass regularly.
She is survived by her siblings, Dennis (Sally) Bishop, Georgine (Steven) Moores, Brenda (Joseph) Piecenski, Matthew (Kathy) Bishop, Regina (Frank) Pomiecko, Marie Brzeski, Eileen Gorey (Bart Bartniski), Anne Castille, and Paulette (Joseph) Gubbini; an aunt, Alice Biltz, who was her Godmother, as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Tokich, who died on April 20, 2006; a brother, Timothy Bishop and a sister, Patricia Ann (Bishop) Steffee.
Friends will be received at St. Michael The Archangel Roman Catholic Church, 807 Chestnut St., Emlenton, on Saturday, August 24 from 11:00 – Noon where a Mass of Christian Burial will follow at Noon with the Rev. Johnathan Schmolt, pastor administrator, officiating. A graveside committal service will be held at Noon Monday at All Saints Cemetery, 480 West Highland Rd., Northfield, OH.
