Kristopher R. “Kris” Corah, 59, of Emlenton, formerly of Bradford, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes while in the company of his family early Friday morning, January 2, 2026 at UPMC Northwest in Seneca.
Kristopher was born on October 24, 1966 in Port Allegany. He was the son of Robert Corah of Roulette and Dixie Emmett Gordon of Emlenton. Kris was a 1984 graduate of Bradford High School and attended Penn State DuBois. In his earlier years he was employed at Temple Particle Board Plant in Mt. Jewett and most recently he had been employed in Emlenton at Amazing Stitches and The Parlor ice cream and coffee shop. In his younger years he enjoyed hunting. He was an avid animal lover, most especially cats. Kris always looked forward to spending time with his family, most especially his son, Kristopher. He served on the executive board of the Boys and Girls Club Along the Allegheny in Emlenton.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Sarah A. How Corah, whom he married in Oil City on August 6, 2022; his sons, Kristopher Corah of Emlenton and Nathan Bacha and his wife, Hannah, of Fort Wayne, IN. Also surviving is a step son, Patrick How and his wife, Jaz, of Cannon City, CO; two brothers, Mark A. Corah and his wife, Michelle, of Wellsboro, and Kurt A. Corah and his wife, Shawn, of Rimersburg, as well as a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Friends will be received at the Hile Funeral Home, Inc., 1204 Kerr Ave., Emlenton from 2-5pm Saturday, January 10.
