Kevin C. Orr Obituary

Kevin C. Orr, 71, of Emlenton, went to be with the Lord while in the company of his loving wife Monday evening, January 12, 2026 in Select Specialty Care at Allegheny Valley Hospital in Natrona Heights.

Kevin was born in Detroit, MI on July 16, 1954. He was the son of the late James Roy and Eugenia A. Greer Orr.

He graduated from Roosevelt high school in Michigan and was a raised as a city boy. He fell in love, moved to the country, and became a quick study at raising chickens and pigs. He enjoyed hunting and being outside. Kevin was a self taught woodworker, plumber, and electrician. Kevin was well versed on politics and current events and researched many issues so he had the facts and not just hearsay.

Kevin was employed throughout most of his working life in private security. He was a strong believer in the 2nd Amendment, the right to self-defense, and emergency preparedness. Kevin was always ready to defend others and interested in teaching them to defend themselves. In his earlier years, he was employed as a fire lookout at Buck Rock in The Sequoia National Forest in California. Kevin is survived by his wife, Kimberly L. Eichenmiller Orr, whom he met at Buck Rock. The couple was later married in the Sequoia National Forest on October 23, 1987. Kevin attended the Fellowship Baptist Church in Emlenton.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a brother, James Orr and his wife, Linda, of Tennessee and their children Jennifer, Brandy and Spencer, the children of Richard and Martha, Daniel and Katie and the children of Eileen Orr, Adam and Carrie; his mother-in-law, Mary Lou Eichenmiller, his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Janet and Israel Serbin and their children Isaac and Elyse; and Eric and Angela Eichenmiller and their children Elisabeth, Erica, Tommy, Kayla, Michael, Laura, Nathaniel and Spencer.

Kevin truly loved his Michigan and Pennsylvania families and friends especially Al Reeves. Kevin Charles will be immensely missed, and we can hear him saying “God is Good, all the time. All the time, God is good.”

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Richard, and a sister, Eileen.

A memorial service will be held at the Fellowship Baptist Church on January 21 at 1:00 pm with the Rev. Jacob Langdon, church pastor, officiating. Interment will be at Scrubgrass Stone Church Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Kevin’s memory may be made to Fellowship Baptist Church missions.
