Kathryn "Kay" (Carr) Parker

Kathryn “Kay” Carr Parker, 85, of Kennerdell, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at Shippenville Healthcare.

Kathryn was born in Emlenton on June 24, 1938.  She was the daughter of the late Gerald H. and Helen M. Morrison Carr.

She was a graduate of Emlenton High School and had been employed by Columbia Gas in Emlenton. Kay enjoyed the company of her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” Parker.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Andrew, Ashley, Ariana Kay, and Abigyle Carol; two great grandchildren, Briona and Dominick; a number of nieces, nephew, and cousins, and a sister-in-law, Anne Eckelbarger Carr.

In addition to parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Melissa A. Lemieux; her siblings, Wayne, Edward, Richard, Herbert, Gerald, Robert, Lu, and Jeanne, as well as a number of brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

Private funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hile Funeral Home Inc., Emlenton.  Interment will be in Big Bend Cemetery.  Condolences may be sent by visiting www.hilefh.com.
