Judy A. (O'Donnell) Roddy

Judy A. O’Donnell - Roddy, 70, of Chicora, Oakland Twp., passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home while surrounded by her daughters and grandson Wednesday evening, October 20, 2021.

Judy was born in Chicora on January 21, 1951.  She was the daughter of the late Harry and Mary Louise Young O’Donnell.

She was of the Catholic faith.  She was a 1969 graduate of Butler Area High School and was a long time owner and employee in the family business, O’Donnell’s Distributor.  Judy was an avid golfer.  She had enjoyed skydiving and had a keen interest in dinosaurs, thoroughly enjoying again and again Jurassic Park and its sequels.

Surviving are two daughters, Kathy Lynch and Shannon of Indiana and Diane Lynch of Chicora; a step daughter, Erin Neiper and her husband, Craig, of Slippery Rock; a grandson, Harrison Lynch of Chicora; her step grandchildren, Garrett Griffith and Aidan and Aela Neiper; her brothers, Harry “Butch” O’Donnell and his wife, Linda, Dennis O’Donnell and his wife, Doris, all of Chicora, and Steve O’Donnell and his wife, Sherry, and Jay O’Donnell, all of Butler, as well as a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Connie O’Donnell and a nephew, Justin O’Donnell.

Judy said, “I want to say, thank you to all of my family and friends for letting me be a part of their lives, because it brought me such happiness and joy.”
