Dorr Wade Johnson

Dorr Wade “Bud” Johnson, 65, of Emlenton, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 21, 2023 at his home.

Bud was born in Olean, NY on March 15, 1958. He was the son of the late Dorr A. and Catherine E. Dittman Johnson.
 

Bud was a 1976 graduate of Limestone High School. He was employed at Franklin Cemetery, and later at Franklin Granite Works/Heath Memorials.

Bud leaves behind two daughters, Jessica O’Neil (Wink), and Catherine Johnson (Jason).  He was affectionately “poppa” to five grandkids, Taylor and Shelby Carbaugh, Kylie, Rion “Buddy”, and Deegan Johnson. Two sisters survive, Robin Wingard, and Penny Patterson Haynoski; and his best friend, Fred (Gail) Wingard; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, and good friends, all of whom he loved more than words could say. 

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Terry Johnson Cooney, and a brother-in-law, Jerry Patterson.
