Clifford L. “Cliff” McClure, 65, of Karns City, Brady’s Bend Twp., Armstrong Co., passed away early Saturday morning, November 25, 2023 at Good Samaritan Hospice in Wexford.
Clifford was born in Butler on February 24, 1958. He was the son of late William and Mary Steele McClure.
He attended school in Karns City. Cliff enjoyed a cold beer, sitting around the campfire with friends, going to his friend’s farm, and working. He had been employed in the coal mining industry.
He is survived by four daughters, Crystal Troutman (Scott) of Karns City, Jennifer Moore (Chad) of Eau Claire, Tiffany Thompson (Brian) of Parker, Cassandra Cox (Nathan) of Karns City; a son, Clifford “Jake” McClure (Breanna)of Fenelton; he was affectionately “Pap” to his nine grandchildren, Cheyenne, Sebastian, Haley, Abigail, Braylynn, Talon, Daniel, Jase, and Waylon; a great granddaughter, Rori; a brother, William “Bill” McClure (Sandra) of Parker; two sisters, Sarah Alice Campbell (Ron) of Wolverine, MI and Mary “Susie” Anthony (Ken) of Petrolia, as well as a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Carol and Nancy.
Friends will be received at the Hile Funeral Home of Karns City, 128 Main St., Karns City, from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday. A funeral service of committal will follow at the funeral home at 8 p.m. with Pastor Paul DeBacco, of the Crisswell Bible Baptist Church, officiating.
