Chasiti D. Dascomb, 43, of St. Petersburg, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at her home.
Chasiti was born in Oil City on November 9, 1982. She was the daughter of the late Randy and Dee Lynn Forsythe Foust. She graduated from Allegheny Clarion Valley High School where she was a member of the choir, track team, and the National Honor Society. She had been employed at various local restaurants as a hostess and waitress, and was a caregiver to several local elderly residents. She had also been employed as a support person in the local group homes.
Prior to her illness, she and her brother, Spencer, were caretakers for their mother who struggled with many health issues. Most importantly, she loved being a mom to her son Gavin. Her hope was that he remembers he was always loved and very special to her. Chasiti was loved, and will be missed, by many family members and friends.
She is survived by her son Gavin, her nephew Zaiden, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
In addition to her parents and brother, she was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents, as well as two uncles.
Private funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hile Funeral Home, Inc. 802 Grove St. St. Petersburg. Memorial contributions in Chasiti’s name may be made to the funeral home to defray funeral expenses by visiting www.hilefh.com and clicking the donate tab.
