Carole Beverly (Conner) Whitmer

Carole Beverly Whitmer, 85, of East Butler, went peacefully to be with the Lord surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday morning, December 6, 2023 in the comfort of her home.

Carole was born in Rimersburg on December 10, 1937.  She was the daughter of the late Kenneth Dale and Lillian Ida Nelly Conner.

She was a graduate of Union Joint High School.  Carole was a member of East Butler Presbyterian Church where she served as a deacon, elder, and Sunday School teacher.  She retired from the Irene Stacy Institute.

Carole is survived by her husband, William Russell Whitmer, whom she married in Rimersburg on October 6, 1956.  Also surviving are two daughters, Shelby (Paul) Biedenbach of Herman and Melanie Fallecker of Fenelton; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Sarah Shick and Edna Delaney.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 3 at The East Butler Presbyterian Church,  900 Randolph Ave., East Butler, with former church pastor, Rev.
