Brian R. Angert

Brian R. Angert, 63, of Karns City, passed away following a battle with cancer early Wednesday morning, October 1, 2025 at his home.

Brian was born in Sioux City, Iowa on November 25, 1961.  He was the son of the late Robert E. “Bob” and Jeanine L. Johnson Angert.

He was a 1980 graduate of Karns City Area High School.  In his early years, he was employed in the construction industry and later at the Color Press in East Butler.  He enjoyed hunting and the company of his long time best buddy, Ronald “Fred” Anderson.

Surviving are his siblings, Kevin A. Angert and his wife, Elaine, of Ocala, FL, Robin R. Belles and her husband, Ralph, of Marienville, and Kimberlee K. Pyle of Karns City, as well as a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, a nephew, and cousins.
