Brenda J. Wolfe

Brenda J. Wolfe, 63, of East Brady, Sugarcreek Twp., Armstrong Co., passed away peacefully Sunday, August 31, 2025 at Quality Life Services Sugarcreek while in the company of her loving family.

Brenda was born in Natrona Heights on April 12, 1962.  She was the daughter of the late Clifford and Helen Schrecengost Smith.

She attended school in Kittanning and had been employed at Armstrong Co. Memorial Hospital as a patient escort and EKG technician.

She enjoyed bird watching, flower gardening and was an avid Steelers fan.  She most especially enjoyed the company of her grandkids.

Surviving are three daughters, Jodie L. Cousins and her husband, Steve, Jessica L. Hamilton and her husband, Lee, all of Cowansville, and Patricia A. Snyder and her husband, Richard, of East Brady; her grandchildren, who were the light of her life, Emily, Ashley, Kylee, Riley, Tyler, Hunter, Garrett, Abby, Levi, and Makayla; her great grandchildren, Lily, Grayson, Cora, and Waylon, and Colt; a brother, Clifford Joseph “Joe” Smith of Gibsonia; four sisters, Carol Hooks of Kittanning, Janie Bowser and her husband, Jimmy, and Christine Judge, all of Cowansville, and Tracy Johns of Kittanning, as well as a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the love of her life, Marty Roy Wolfe and three sisters, Nancy, Kathy, and Colleen.

A celebration of life service will be held from 1-5 p.m. Sunday at the Brady’s Bend American Legion Post.  Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hile Funeral Home of Chicora.  Condolences may be sent by visiting www.hilefh.com.
