Barbara D. McDonough Obituary

Barbara D. McDonough (nee Snow), age 65 of Sewell, New Jersey was called home on May 8, 2026.   Barbara is survived by her beloved husband Martin McDonough, loving mother of the late Zesta Shankle, Charleen Anderson-Hubbert, Tasha Nottingham, Courtney Nottingham and Jessee Andrades. Additional family members include her brother Earl Thomas Snow Jr., and sisters Glenda Shakley (Douglas) and Christine Angiolieri (Richard).  Barbara was blessed with 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Barbara spent many years in the hospitality industry as an Executive Assistant and various accounting positions of increasing responsibility.  She was especially fond of her arts and craft projects including quilting and needlepoint.  Barbara and her husband enjoyed cruising by “his and hers” Harley Davidsons and trips to various world ports via Royal Caribbean.

In her spare time, Barbara enjoyed being involved with her grandchildren’s activities and spending time by the pool.  She especially enjoyed the holidays, of special note was Christmas and decorating the home for family enjoyment.

Arrangements are being handled by Boucher Funeral Home, Deptford, New Jersey and Hile Funeral Home of Karns City, Pennsylvania.  A private memorial and interment service will be in Bear Creek Cemetery in Petrolia, Pennsylvania for family members only.
