Ann E. (Wharam) Fekete

Ann E. Fekete, 95, of Emlenton, Richland Twp., Clarion County, formerly of Portsmouth, VA passed away Sunday, December 31, 2023 at the Chicora Medical Center.

Ann was born in Buckingham, VA on September 1, 1928. She was the daughter of the late James O. and Mattie E. Price Wharam.

She was a graduate of Academy Park High School in Portsmouth, VA. She had been employed as a seamstress for more than 23 years at London Fog Manufacturing. Ann enjoyed reading and drinking coffee with her best friend.

She is survived by two daughters, Gloria J. Dittman and her husband, Randy, of Emlenton and Mary Elizabeth "Beth" Albertson and her husband, Jerry, of Portsmouth, VA; eight grandchildren, April, Jennifer, Tony, Eric, Rusty, Justin, Sara, and Mattie, as well as a number of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Lee Clark Sr. and Michael Joseph Fekete; two sons, Robert Clark and Anthony James Clark, and two brothers Jack and James Wharam.

Friends will be received at the Hile Funeral Home Inc., 802 Grove St., St. Petersburg, from 1-2 p.m. Friday. A funeral service will follow from the funeral home at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Gene Lenk, pastor of the St. Petersburg United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Cemetery in Virginia.
