Alice L. (DeLoe) Elder

Alice L. Elder, 68, of Knox, passed away Thursday, February 27, 2025 at home following a period of declining health.

Alice was born in Oil City on November 6, 1956.  She was the daughter of the late Wayne DeLoe Sr. and the late Martha Cornish DeLoe.

She attended Keystone High School in Knox and enjoyed flower gardening, attending family events and cookouts, sunbathing, crafts, and spending as much time as she could with her grandson, Jaxson, whom she adored.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael L. Elder, whom she married on March 24, 1983.

Surviving is a daughter, Melissa S. Elder and her fiancé, Daryl Smith, of Knox; a grandson, Jaxson M. Smith; a brother, David (Fay) DeLoe of Knox; two sisters, Barbara (Gary) Bowser of Bruin and Jeanette DeLoe of Clarion; her mother-in-law, Beverly Elder of Erie, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Vern, Kenneth, Terry, and Wayne Sr., and a sister, Anna Seyler.
