Timothy Layne Garis

Timothy Layne Garis, 46, of Riverside, California passed away September 12, 2017.

Born July 2, 1971, in Oil City, Pennsylvania, he was the son of William Eugene Garis, Jr. and Donna Catherine Page Garis.

Tim graduated from East Liverpool High School in 1989.  He moved to southern California in July of 1991.  Tim was an active member in community theater and also enjoyed attending Broadway Musicals.

Tim was a volunteer for the Susan G. Komen walk in memory of his mom, Cathy.  He also assisted with AIDS/Lifecycle.  Tim was known for his kind loving soul and huge heart throughout the ride community.  He was an active and devoted uncle to his nieces and nephews.

Surviving are his father, William Eugene Garis, Jr.; brother, Donald Walter Page, wife Kimberly, and sons Kyle and Trevor; brother, William Eugene Garis, III, wife Terrin, son William IV, and daughter Kallie; sister, Fallon Rae Garis and daughter Riley; grandmother, Patty Page Neese and husband, Jack; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Tim was preceded in death by his mom, Donna Catherine Page Garis Buoniconti; brother, Steven Brent Garis; grandfather, Donald Richard Page; grandfather, William Eugene Garis, Sr.; grandmother, Mildred Ann Henderson Garis; uncle, Dennis Scott Garis; and uncle, Jon David Page.

Friends will be received at the Hile Funeral Home Inc., 802 Grove Street, St. Petersburg, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.  Saturday.  A funeral service will follow from the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev.
