Ruby M. Deal, 81, of Petrolia, a well-known Fairview resident, passed away while surrounded by her loving family, Thursday afternoon, June 27, 2019 in Good Samaritan Hospice at Concordia in Cabot.

Ruby was born in Butler on January 25, 1938. She was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Irene Stoughton Cumberland. Ruby graduated from Hooker High School and was of the Presbyterian faith. Ruby most especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends that would come to visit, and riding her golf cart around Fairview. Her favorite season was summer, when she enjoyed spending time lying in the sun, on her back porch, and in her garage.
