Kathleen M. Miller Goldinger of Worthington, died in her home following an illness on Thursday, December 13, 2018.
She was born in Butler to Dorothy Eiler Miller of Bruin and the late Albert Miller. She was a graduate of Karns City High School.
Kathy was a hard worker and seemed happiest when she was taking care of her children, helping a neighbor, planning a picnic, or working on the family farm. She was involved in several family businesses, including the Beer Zone in Lyndora. She enjoyed extensive travel with her family and spent as much time as possible in the Florida sun. The last several years were made much brighter by spending time with her grandsons, Grady and Daniel.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 35 years, James D. Goldinger; three daughters, Megan Klingensmith and her husband, Chuck, Courtney Bellin and her husband, Matt, all of Butler, and Brittany Goldinger of Pittsburgh; two grandsons, Grady and Daniel Klingensmith of Butler, three brothers and two sisters.
In addition to her father, Kathy was preceded in death by a brother.
Friends will be received at the Hile Funeral Home of Chicora, 339 Chicora Fenelton Rd., Chicora, from 2 – 5 and 6 – 8 p.m. Saturday. A memorial service will follow from the funeral home at 8:00 p.m. with an elder from the local congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, presiding. Interment will be in Worthington Lutheran Cemetery.
