Donald E. “Magoo” Mansberger Jr. 51, of Freeman Rd., Emlenton, died unexpectedly of natural causes, Tuesday evening, August 14, 2018 at the home of a friend in Eau Claire.
Donald was born in Los Angeles, CA on December 21, 1966. He was the son of the late Donald E. Sr., and Ethel M. McNany Mansberger. Magoo enjoyed fishing, working on vehicles, and building birdhouses. He is survived by his wife, Florence R. Ealy Mansberger, of Emlenton, whom he married in Sugarcreek Twp., Armstrong County on August 27, 1988.
Five children survive, Leroy E. Ealy, and his fiancé, Kalene Bowser, of Parker, Kayla Young, and her husband, Travis, and Sandra K. Richmond, and her husband Justin, all of Emlenton, Donald E. III, and his fiancé, Jami Morris, of Clarion, and Carrie M. Gordon, and her husband, Keith, of Parker; 14 grandchildren; two brothers, James W. Mansberger, and his wife Misti, Jerry L. Mansberger Sr., and his wife, Ashley, all of Petrolia; two sisters, Donna Mansberger, of Clintonville, Jeanne Klein, and her husband, John, of Harrisville; an aunt, Dottie Mansberger Bingham, and her husband, Jack, of Titusville; a best friend, David Scott, of Parker; as well as a number of brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by a sister, Michelle Mansberger.
Friends will be received at the Hile Funeral Home Inc., 802 Grove Street, Saint Petersburg, from 4-7 p.m. Friday. A funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. from the funeral home with the Rev. Jacob Langdon, pastor of the Fellowship Baptist Church of Emlenton, officiating.
