In her later years, Betty had resided at Bridgeview Apartments in Emlenton. Betty was preceded in death by her only child, Janice Helsel Fisher, who passed away on December 6, 2012.

She is survived by a grandson, Joshua Fisher, and his wife, Jackie, of Emlenton; a granddaughter Adrienne Fallecker, and her husband, Greg, of Weatherford, TX; three great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Mikkenzie, and Westin; a brother, Judd Wetzel, of New Castle, a sister-in-law, Helen Wetzel, of Emlenton; as well as a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
