Alda M. (Koch) Elmadollar

Alda M. Elmadollar, 93, of Hillville Rd., Parker, Madison Twp., Clarion Co., went to be with the Lord early Saturday afternoon, May 12, 2018 in the emergency dept. at Clarion Hospital.

Alda was born in Rimersburg on August 6, 1924.  She was the daughter of Leslie and Marie Koch.

In her earlier years she had been employed at McCall’s egg farm near Sligo and was a long time active member of the church her husband pastored, The Church of God New Living Way Chapel near Rimersburg, where she enjoyed singing in the church choir and attending numerous church activities.

Alda was married at the Methodist Church in Clarion on November 26, 1944 to the Rev. Lawrence Elmadollar.  He preceded her in death on June 10, 1999.

Surviving are four children, Lorraine Weckerly and her husband, Darl, of Oil City, Steve D. Elmadollar and John E. Elmadollar, both of Parker and Joel M. Elmadollar and his wife, Cindy, of Rimersburg; six grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren.  A brother survives, Drew Koch and his wife, Marie, of Rimersburg and two sisters, Dorothy Murray of New Bethlehem and Lois Bowser of Huey, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Buddy, four sisters and one brother.

Friends will be received at the Hile Funeral Home of Karns City, 128 Main St., Karns City, from Noon – 2:00 p.m. Monday where a funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 2:00 p.m. with Alda’s grandson, Nathan Elmadollar, the Sunday School Supt. at The Church of God at Karns City, officiating.  Interment will be beside her husband at Mt.
