William Shawl

William “Bill” Shawl, age 80, of Florence, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2017.

Bill was the loving husband of the late Elizabeth Vonne Shawl. Loving father of W. Greg Shawl (Colleen) of Maineville, OH and Eric Shawl (Cindy) of Long Beach, MS. Beloved grandfather of Mike Walsh, Jesse Shawl, Megan Shawl, Justin Shawl, Bailey Shawl, and 3 great grandchildren. He also leaves behind his partner and love of 15 years, Kathy Deglow; and many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.

Bill proudly served in the United States Navy. After his time in the service he served 10 years as a Pennsylvania State Trooper. He then spent many years in sales for the Long Mile Rubber Company and Goodyear.
