Robert L. Grazier, 69, of Clarion, formerly of St. Petersburg and East Brady, died Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at his home after battling a long term illness.

Bob grew up in St. Petersburg, the son of the late Anne and Pete Grazier.   He enlisted in the service shortly after high school.  He married and eventually moved to West Palm Beach, Florida where he worked at a boatyard.   He enjoyed hunting and fishing and long walks through the Pennsylvania woods.  He was everyone’s friend and kind to all; always ready to tell or receive a joke and loved to share a laugh.

Bob served six years with distinction as a U.S. Marine (D Co, 1st Bn, 5th Marines, 1st Marine Division) from 1966 to 1972.  He is a Vietnam Veteran and earned several medals, including the Purple Heart +1 star, Vietnamese Service Medal +1 star, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnamese Campaign Medal with device, Good Conduct Medal, and the Rifle Sharpshooter Badge for his dedication and bravery. His love of country and his pride in his service to the Marines never left him, as friends and family will attest.

Bob is survived by his two children, Lonnie Grazier and Michelle (Grazier) Miclea; two grandchildren, Evan and Emma Miclea of West Palm Beach, Florida; his brother, Paul and sister-in-law, Carolyn Grazier; his niece, Karen McCall of Emlenton; his girlfriend, Mary Hohmann of East Brady, and his friends, John Eck,  Mandy Aughton, Scott Stewart, Carl Hodward, and George Kilgore.
