Joel A. Fobes

Joel A. Fobes, 33, of Butler, died early Saturday morning, November 12, 2016 at his home in Butler.

Joel was born in Butler on November 10, 1983.  He was the son of and Donna J. Martin and Thomas McCommon, both of Butler.

Joel was a graduate of Butler High School and had been employed by JZL Landscaping.  He attended The Crossfire First Church Ministry in Buter and enjoyed football, hockey, and listening to music.

In addition to his mother, Joel is survived by four sons, Draven and Keegan of Butler, Kamran of State College and Dekyn of Pittsburgh, and a daughter, Aza of Butler; his fiance, Dacia Walker, of Butler; a brother, Jacob Rivers, and a sister, Kayla McCommon, both of Butler, as well as a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Joel was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jean and James Mahlmeister and Joel Martin.

Friends will be received at the Hile Funeral Home of Chicora, 339 Chicora Fenelton Rd., Chicora, from 5 – 8 p.m. Wednesday.  A memorial service will follow at 8:00 p.m. with the Rev.
