Emma Lucy Seaman

Emma Lucy Seaman, Sparta resident formerly of Freehold, NJ went home to the Lord on January 10, 2017 at Newton Medical Center, Newton, NJ. She was born on December 5, 1932 Perry Township, PA.to Roger Leslie Eddinger & Lillian Eiline Philips. She lived in Sparta, NJ with her family since 1964. She is survived by her beloved husband of 58 years Roger Seaman of Sparta and son, Roger Kent Seaman, and his wife, Gamble Bruton Seaman, of Clinton, PA., a sister Janet Boor. Emma was a Flight Attendant for TWA. She was a member of Sparta First Presbyterian Church, Sussex County Arts & Heritage Council as well as the Sparta Women's Club. She was an artist/poet/author of children's books. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 15, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main St, Sparta, NJ 07871 with a funeral service at 8pm Sunday. Burial Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at Allegheny Church Cemetery, Allegheny Twp., Butler County, PA. A graveside committal service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Allegheny Church Cemetery near Foxburg. The Hile Funeral Home Inc. in Saint Petersburg is assisting the family with local arrangements.
