Edward Glenn Texter

Edward Glenn Texter, 64, of Ridge Drive, Karns City, died Monday, January 18, 2016 at the VNA Inpatient Hospice in Butler.

Edward was born in Butler on June 17, 1951. He was the son of the late Kenneth A. and Daisy B. Ervin Texter. He was a graduate of Karns City High School and was of the Protestant faith. He enjoyed watching TV, country western music, playing trivia games, and dogs. Ed was an avid Steelers fan.

He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law with whom he made his home, Kenneth L. and Wilma L. Texter; two nieces, Karen Texter and Karla Texter Meals and her husband, Brien; a great-niece, Jessica Davis Steele and her husband, Bruce; and a great-great-niece, Abbie Steele.

Private visitation and funeral service will be held at the Hile Funeral Home of Karns City, 128 Main St., Karns City with Ed's cousin, Rev. John Texter Jr., a Church of God pastor, officiating. Interment will be in West Freedom Cemetery, Perry Twp., Clarion County.
