Donna L. Edwards

Donna L. (Yough, Hepler) Edwards, 79, of Mesa Arizona, formerly of Kaylor, went to be with our Lord and Savior Sunday, May 8, 2016.

Donna was born November 11, 1936 in Karns City. She was the daughter of the late F. Eugene and Alberta (Mortimer) Yough.

Donna was married to the late J. Allen Edwards of Mesa, AZ.  She also was previously married to the late Jack L. Hepler of Chicora with whom she had three daughters, Jacqueline, Judith and Jennifer.  She was first and foremost a loving and passionate wife and mother who was an active Girl Scout leader for her daughter’s younger years in Brady’s Bend, PA. She later went on to become a teacher’s aide for special needs children in the Mesa Public School District.  She enjoyed bowling, archery hunting, in which she held many competition trophies, camping, and church activities.

Surviving are two daughters, Judith Wilfong and her husband, Dave, of Emlenton and Jennifer Kropp and her husband, J. Barry Kropp, of Gilbert, AZ; nine grandchildren, Kevin, Lee, and Daniel Jordan, Jessica, Rebecca, Russell, and David Brandon, and Jenna and Megan Buckles; four step-grandchildren,  Justin, Calvin, Taylor, and Alyssa Kropp and seventeen great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Eugene  Yough and his wife, Harriet, Darla Fennell, Dennis Yough, Beverly King and her husband, Charles, all of Chicora, Gary Yough and Rita Cumberland of Karns City, as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, J. Allen Edwards, and her oldest daughter, Jacqueline J. (Hepler) Jordan.

Services for Donna L. Edwards, will be held on May 12, 2016 at the Saguaro Hills Baptist Church located at 1402 N. Power Rd. Mesa Arizona 85205 with Pastor John Moore presiding. Visitation will be from 8:30 A.M. until 9:30 A.M. with memorial service following visitation.  Condolences may be sent by visiting www.hilefh.com.
