Dennis R. Ingram, 74, of Chicora, passed away Friday, April 21, 2017 at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Dennis was born in Minden, NE on September 24, 1942. He was the son of the late Leo D. and Winnona F. Garrette Ingram. Dennis was a 1960 graduate of Minden High School in Minden, NE.

He was a US Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam era.

Mr. Ingram was of the Lutheran faith; he enjoyed model trains and ships, painting, and woodworking.

Dennis had been employed by City Gas Company in Colorado Springs, and retired from the Clark County school district in Las Vegas, NV.

Mr. Ingram is survived by his wife, Judy A. Claypoole Ingram, whom he married in Colorado Springs on June 4, 1982. Also surviving are four children, Clinton L. Ingram, Cassandra R. Offutt, and Ronald Rutherford, all of Colorado Springs, CO, and Cheryl A. Istaqa, of Chicora; nine grandchildren, and one great-grandson, as well as a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

Mr. Ingram was preceded in death by a son, Patrick L., a grandson, Patrick M. and a granddaughter, Ashley M.

A gathering of family and friends for a time of remembrance for Mr. Ingram will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday at the Donegal Grange, 851 East Slippery Rock Rd., Chicora. Military honors will be accorded at 4:45 p.m. by the Chicora, Bradys Bend and East Brady American Legion Posts. Arrangements are under the direction of the Hile Funeral Home of Chicora, 339 Chicora-Fenelton Rd., Chicora.
