David Lee Beals

David Lee Beals, 82, a resident of the Promenade in Tuxedo Park, New York, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 7, 2016, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, New York.
He was born at home in Emlenton, PA on April 25, 1934 to Walter Benjamin Beals and Edith Shannon Beals.
David graduated from Grove City College with a degree in Chemistry. His first job was working for Sohio (Standard Oil Company of Ohio) in Cleveland, where he met and soon married the love of his life, Eva. Other employment included a civilian position with the U.S. Army at Fort Belvoir, the Exide Corporation, and most recently, International Paper.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Eva Marie Jonak Beals, his daughters Monica (married to Tom Nagle), Karen (married to Paul Melnick) and Sari.
David has a brother, Duane, who lives with his wife Marilyn in Kyle, Texas.
David has six grandchildren; Kelsey, David, Shannon, Matt, Anna, and Abby.
There will be a Memorial Service on Saturday, May 21 at 4:00 pm at the Hile Funeral Home in Emlenton, PA.
Burial will be at the Emlenton Cemetery.
