Connie Lynn Long, 60, of Emlenton, died Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at UPMC Northwest following a brief illness.

Born on October 30, 1956 in Clarion, Connie was the daughter of the late Ralph and Hazel Theiss Myers.

Connie was a long time in home caretaker.  She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed shopping trips and late night card games with family and friends.

She married William "Bill" Huey Long on August 22, 1977.  Bill preceded her in death on February 19, 2007.

Surviving are her children, Jennifer Olmstead and her husband, Steve, of Oil City, Michael Long of Emlenton, David Long of Franklin, and Kevin Long and his wife, Sheila, of St. Petersburg; her grandchildren, Jonathan and Carter Olmstead, Justin Long, Sarah Eller, Aaron Long, and Kimberly Long, as well as two great grandchildren.  Also surviving are her  siblings, Gary Myers and his wife, Pat, of Smethport, Mary Ellen Hall of Leeper, Bradley Myers and his wife, Karen, of Kearney, MO; a brother-in-law, Jack Planker of Emlenton, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Connie was preceded in death by two sisters, Sylvia Deloe and Suzanne Planker; two brothers-in-law, Dewayne Deloe and Joe Hall, and a daughter-in-law, Emma Jenny Long.

Friends will be received at the Hile Funeral Home Inc., 1204 Kerr Ave., Emlenton, from 2 - 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. Saturday.  A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday from the funeral home.  Interment will be in the Emlenton Cemetery.   For additional information or to send a condolence, please visit www.hilefh.com.
