To Bernie's family, How sad to learn of Bernie's passing. He was a good friend and we were often on the same side of many a discussion. He led the Math Help Center in exemplary fashion and he taught math with his usual passion. I now live full time in Florida so I cannot be at the funeral services. We all are diminished by his passing. He was a true carrier of the truth.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of this really great man. I had the pleasure of knowing Bernie through our casual friend Randy Tice. Every time I went to a PSU game, Randy always said we will see Bernie there. As I read his obituary I never knew of all his travels. He was a wonderful man who I will always remember.RIP Bernie your a pretty cool guy !!
